Top Camp

Out on Top Camp's rural-residential blocks, you don't want a city crew squeezing you in at the end of the day and rushing it. We bring the same gear and standard here as anywhere. TopLawn is family-owned, police-checked, $20M insured, 70+ five-star reviews.

Why us here

Local knowledge, local crew

Top Camp's larger rural-residential blocks get the same commercial-grade fleet we bring to the city centre — the commercial-grade zero-turn for the ground, Milwaukee sprayers for even weed treatment across bigger areas — on a regular round, not as an afterthought. That means a consistent, quality finish out here rather than a rushed job. Family-owned, $20M insured, 70+ five-star reviews.

The soil under your lawn

Mixed / transition

Red Ferrosol · texture-contrast

Top Camp is a mix of red Ferrosol and lighter texture-contrast soil on the higher southern ground. The red soil drains freely and dries at the surface (wetting agents help on dry patches), while the lighter soil dries even faster. Couch, kikuyu and buffalo are the common grasses. Winter grass and bindii are the cool-season weeds, and on the lighter ground khaki weed is worth watching in the warmer months.

Top Camp is a southern rural-residential locality of larger blocks on elevated ground — acreage-ready properties that we service on a regular round with the right equipment.

What your lawn is telling you

Signs it needs more than a mow

Dry patches that shed water want a wetting agent, spongy turf wants a scarify, and pale growth wants feeding. On the lighter ground, fast browning in summer usually means the soil isn't holding moisture — wetting agents and a higher cut help.

What we do here

Commercial-grade zero-turn and acreage mowing · commercial and compact push mowing · bladed edging and whipper snipping · lawn fertilisation and treatment · selective weed spraying and control · hedge trimming · aeration and scarifying.

Common questions

Local lawn questions

  • Do you do acreage? Yes — the commercial-grade zero-turn is built for it.
  • How often should I mow? Weekly to fortnightly in the warmer months, every three to four weeks in winter.
  • One-off or ongoing? Both.
