What lawn mowing costs in Toowoomba
Nobody local publishes a price, so here is ours. Ongoing regular mowing starts from $66 inc GST on a small, maintained yard. Beyond that we come out and quote the property properly — free, no obligation, and the number you are given is the number you pay.

Why we quote on site instead of publishing a price list
A tight courtyard in Newtown and a half-acre corner block at Highfields are not the same job, and a flat rate quietly overcharges the small blocks to subsidise the big ones. So we come out, look at the property, and price it on what is actually there.
$66 inc GST is the genuine starting point for an ongoing regular mow on a small, well-maintained yard. It is not a teaser rate and it does not climb once we are on site. Most homes sit above it, because most homes are bigger than that — but plenty of our regular clients pay exactly that figure every visit.
Ongoing service is priced better per visit than a one-off, for a simple reason: a lawn on a schedule never gets away from us, so it takes less time every time. A first cut on a block that has been left for two months is a different job to the fortnightly visit that follows it, and it is quoted separately.
What moves the price
Six things we look at when we quote
What you get
Every mow includes the lot
Mow, precision bladed edging, whipper snipping and a full blow-down of paths, patio and driveway, with the clippings caught and taken away. We do not charge separately for the basics, and we do not leave the edges for a line trimmer waved along the concrete.
We never charge by the hour. An hourly rate means you carry the risk of a slow day, and it quietly punishes thoroughness. You get a fixed price agreed before we start, an itemised tax invoice afterwards, and no lock-in contract at any point.

Common questions
Lawn mowing prices, answered
How much does lawn mowing cost in Toowoomba?
Ongoing regular mowing starts from $66 inc GST for a small, well-maintained yard. A typical suburban block with front, back and edging sits above that, and acreage is priced separately again. Every quote is free and done on the property rather than over the phone.
Do you charge by the hour?
No. You get a fixed price agreed in writing before we start, and it does not move unless you ask for something extra. No hourly guesswork and no surprise on the invoice.
Is a one-off mow more expensive than ongoing?
Per visit, yes. A lawn kept on a schedule is quicker to cut every time, so regular clients are priced better than one-off calls. We do both, and there is no lock-in either way.
Do you charge extra to travel to my suburb?
No travel surcharge anywhere in our service area, which runs about 35km from the Toowoomba CBD — north to Hampton, west to Oakey, south to Cambooya and east to Gatton.
My lawn is badly overgrown. Will it cost more?
The first visit will, because there is more to cut and considerably more to cart away. After that it settles into standard maintenance pricing. No lawn is too far gone for us to take on.
Is the quote really free?
Free and no obligation. We come to the property, look at what is actually there and give you a firm number. Most quotes come back the same day, and many can be done from photos if that suits you better.
