Every visit, as standard

What a residential lawn service includes

No surprise extras for the basics. Everything below is part of a standard mow, not an add-on.

Mowing at the right heightSet for your grass type and the season — not scalped to buy time between visits.
Precision bladed edgingAlong paths, driveways and garden beds. The single thing that makes a front lawn look sharp rather than just cut.
Whipper snippingAround fences, trees, posts, clotheslines and anywhere the mower can't reach.
Full blow-downPaths, driveways and patios blown clean. You shouldn't be sweeping up after us.
Clippings removedCaught and taken away, or mulched back in where that's better for the lawn. Your bin stays empty.
A look over your lawnIf we spot thatch, compaction, grubs or weeds starting, we'll tell you before it spreads.

Every kind of home

Whatever you've got out the front

Family homesStandard suburban blocks across Toowoomba. Hard-wearing lawns that need to survive kids, pets and backyard cricket.
Units & townhousesSmall courtyards and narrow strips where a full-size mower won't fit. That's what the compact push mower is for.
Character homesOlder lots with narrow side accesses, mature garden beds and established hedging — common through the inner suburbs.
Acreage & lifestyle blocksCommercial zero-turn coverage for larger properties. See acreage mowing for detail.
Rentals & investment propertiesOngoing care or one-off tidy-ups between tenancies. Itemised invoicing suitable for passing to owners.
Holiday & second homesKept presentable while you're away, so you're not arriving to a jungle.

Choosing a schedule

How often should a Toowoomba lawn be mown?

The honest answer is that it changes through the year, and the right interval depends on your grass, your block and how you use it. Here's the rhythm most Toowoomba homes settle into.

Weekly

Peak growing season, September to March, on lawns you want consistently sharp. Suits couch and kikuyu, which grow fast in the warmth.

Fortnightly

The most popular choice. Keeps a lawn tidy year-round without cutting more than a third of the leaf at once.

Monthly

Slower-growing lawns, shaded blocks, or the cooler months. At elevation — Highfields, Cabarlah, Hampton — winter stretches further still.

One-off

Overgrown first cuts, pre-sale tidy-ups, holiday cover. No obligation to continue afterwards.

We'll recommend what suits your lawn rather than selling you visits you don't need — and adjust as the seasons turn. Your schedule isn't locked in.

The whole property

More than just the lawn

Most homeowners start with mowing and add the rest once they realise it can all happen on the same visit — which costs less than booking separate trades, because we're already on site.

Hedge trimming and pruning keeps formal hedges crisp and brings overgrown ones back. Garden maintenance covers hand weeding, mulching, bed edging and seasonal tidy-ups. Licensed weed control handles bindii, winter grass, clover and khaki weed — we're ACDC licensed and ChemCert accredited, which is a legal requirement to spray commercially.

Lawn renovations — scarifying, core aeration, top dressing and feeding — fix the underlying problems that mowing alone can't. Garden overhauls reset a garden that's got away, and cleanups clear a property back to presentable with everything taken away.

Why homeowners stay with us

The things that actually matter week to week

The same crew every visit. They learn your property — where the gate sticks, which bed the dog digs in, how you like the edges. You're not re-explaining it to a stranger each fortnight.

You know when we're coming. A reminder with your ETA the day before, and an on-the-way message on the day. No waiting around wondering.

Nobody chases anybody. Recurring scheduling means visits don't get skipped, and seasonal work gets prompted at the right time of year. Invoices come after the job, payable by direct debit — no cash at the gate.

Every staff member is police-checked, and we carry $20 million public liability — double what most local operators advertise. That matters when someone's working around your home and family.

No lock-in contract. Pause, change frequency or stop whenever you need to.

Common questions

Residential lawn care FAQ

How much does residential lawn mowing cost in Toowoomba?

Every quote is free and priced on your property rather than a flat rate. The factors are lawn size, access, how overgrown it is on the first visit, how often you'd like us, and any extras like hedging or garden work. Ongoing service is priced better than one-offs, and you get a clear price before we start.

Do I need to be home when you come?

No, as long as we can access the areas that need doing. You'll get a reminder the day before so you can unlock gates or move cars, and a message when we're done. Plenty of our clients we've never met in person.

Do you take the clippings away?

Yes — clippings are caught and removed as standard, so your green bin stays free. On some lawns mulching them back in is better for soil health, and we'll recommend that where it genuinely applies.

Is edging included or charged extra?

Included. Precision bladed edging is part of every standard mow, along with whipper snipping and a full blow-down. We don't charge separately for the basics.

My lawn is badly overgrown — will you still take it on?

Yes. No lawn is too far gone, and we won't turn a job down because it's a mess. The first visit takes longer and is priced separately, then it settles into normal maintenance pricing once it's under control.

Can you get into a narrow side access?

Yes — that's exactly what the compact push mower is for. Older Toowoomba lots often have narrow or gated side accesses, and we carry the right machine rather than declining the job.

Are you insured, and are your staff checked?

— double what most local operators advertise — and every team member is police-checked. Crews attending childcare, school and care sites also hold current Blue Cards. Certificates available on request.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. Ongoing service runs on a recurring schedule for convenience, not a lock-in. Pause it over winter, change frequency, or stop — no penalty either way.

Which suburbs do you service?

Toowoomba and surrounds within roughly 35km — north to Hampton, west to Oakey, south to Cambooya, east to Gatton. See areas we service for the full list of 50+ suburbs and towns.
